A high-profile, upscale brasserie in a historic Midtown location is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a large-format, high-volume operation. This concept blends timeless European brasserie style with modern, high-energy hospitality, serving as a true all-day dining destination with significant breakfast, lunch, and dinner volume. The General Manager will be a commanding presence on the floor and a strategic leader behind the scenes—responsible for driving performance, developing talent, and executing at the highest level. This role is ideal for a proven GM who has successfully led complex, high-revenue restaurants and thrives in fast-paced, high-visibility environments.


Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day operations across a large-scale, multi-service dining environment

• Lead and develop a robust management team and large FOH staff, creating a culture of accountability and excellence

• Own full P&L responsibility for a $15M–$20M operation, including revenue growth, labor, and cost controls

• Act as the primary floor leader, setting the tone for service, energy, and guest experience

• Drive operational structure, consistency, and execution across all dayparts

• Partner closely with culinary and beverage leadership to ensure alignment across all departments

• Maintain exceptional standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and food safety

• Oversee staffing strategy, scheduling, and labor efficiency at scale

• Manage guest relations at a high level, ensuring a polished, consistent experience

• Analyze business performance and implement strategies to improve profitability and operational flow


Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of leadership experience in upscale casual or high-volume restaurant environments

• Proven success as a General Manager overseeing $15M+ in annual revenue

• Experience managing large-format restaurants with complex service models

• Strong financial acumen with deep understanding of P&L, labor management, and cost controls

• Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams

• Confident, composed operator with strong floor presence

• Highly organized with strong problem-solving and operational skills

• Experience with POS systems, scheduling, and reporting tools

• Flexible schedule; comfortable with nights, weekends, and high-volume service demands
